Pdfmira and Cifradocs: print the plate, or print the minutes

Our reader wants crop and weight. Their reader wants sixty minutes on FREE and a subprocessor list. Privacy exists here; it is not the cover. On Cifradocs it is the cover. That is the whole comparison, dressed in type.

A magazine that opens with deletion minutes would stop being a studio. A gazette that opens with a hero plate would stop being a register. Keep the costumes in their wardrobes. If you must convert a sensitive scan, the gazette is the room that speaks the timer first — not because Pdfmira keeps files longer, because the first sentence is different. If you must export a cover, do not make the student read a protocol.

Neither product is a queue OS. Folders belong to Fileliq. Do not stretch a gazette or a magazine across a directory and call it operations.

Retention as design

Cifradocs designs for the timer. Pdfmira designs for the plate, then deletes. If the document should not appear to live in a gallery, the gazette is the more coherent room — not because the titolare differs, because the first sentence differs.

Working files still expire here. The colophon and cookie page say so. We will not pretend a magenta rule is a legal enhancement. Cifradocs will not pretend a serif is a larger preview. Forward the issue that matches the email you have to answer: ‘how long do you keep it’ versus ‘can I see the page’.

Stay in Pdfmira for images plus PDF. Go to Cifradocs for institutional privacy copy. Help will not impersonate a register. Rates will not impersonate a tariff of trust.

Office / AI

Lossy Office, both editions. AI not live. Cifradocs keeps AI out of the public catalog. We may list a coming-soon line. Neither is a converter today.

Plates: here. Minutes: Cifradocs. Colophon unchanged. Contact if the desk must answer a person, not a protocol.

A DPO and a thesis student can share a scanner and still need two homepages. The DPO wants the timer where a stranger can see it. The student wants the plate where a stranger can judge it. Cifradocs prints the timer. Pdfmira prints the plate. Forwarding one URL for both questions is how you generate a third email. Two products, one controller, no invented firm, no rating widget.

We will not open this issue with sixty minutes. They will not open theirs with a hero crop. That refusal is the comparison. After the conversion, both delete. The difference was never a secret vault. It was the sentence you could quote.
